Bloodhunt is a battle royale game that takes place in the World of Darkness, in Prague's streets and rooftops. It takes place after a vampire convention in the city, which sparked a vampire sect war and attracted the attention of the Second Inquisition. To survive the sect war, players assume the roles of vampires who must fight against an enemy that seeks to eradicate vampires as well as one another. They have the option of fighting alone or in groups, and they can make use of melee, ranged, and vampire abilities. Another requirement for players is to hide their vampire identities from people; this is known as the Masquerade.
What is Bloodhunt?
Bloodhunt transports players into a world where vampire clans vie for power amidst a human society that knows nothing of their existence. Set in Prague, players must navigate both the urban environment and the hidden supernatural politics at play, all while avoiding detection by humans. The game blends traditional battle royale mechanics with vampires' unique abilities and powers, making for intense, fast-paced gameplay.
Gameplay Mechanics: A Unique Blend of Styles
What sets Bloodhunt apart from other battle royale titles is its incorporation of the Vampire: The Masquerade lore. Players can choose from various vampire clans, each with unique abilities that influence playstyle. Whether you prefer the brute strength of the Brujah, the stealth of the Toreador, or the mind-bending powers of the Malkavian, there’s a character to suit every preference.
The game encourages strategic gameplay, blending combat, stealth, and agility. Utilize your vampire powers to scale buildings, cloak yourself in shadows, or unleash devastating attacks on your enemies. The mix of traditional weapons and supernatural abilities creates dynamic encounters that keep players on their toes.
